Проект Polygon поглотил платформу Hermez Network, специализирующуюся на решениях масштабирования второго уровня ZK-Rollups.

Слияние предполагает смену названия с Hermez Network на Polygon Hermez, а также интеграцию нативных токенов HEZ в новую платформу. Соглашение достигнуто 4 августа, сумма сделки составила 250 млн MATIC (около $250 млн на тот момент).

6/14 The maximum amount that will be committed for this merger from the Polygon treasury is 250M $MATIC tokens, or roughly $250M based on the price at the time of reaching the agreement (August 4, 2021).

В новой экосистеме Polygon Hermez станет частью линейки продуктов, наряду с Polygon PoS, Polygon SDK и Polygon Avail.

Starting today, we will initiate the process of merging Hermez into the Polygon ecosystem, where it will be operating under the new name: Polygon Hermez, along with other Polygon solutions such as Polygon PoS, Polygon SDK, Polygon Avail, etc.

На развитие связанные с ZK-Rollups решений проект Polygon выделил $1 млрд.

➡️ Building ZK based solutions;
➡️ Hiring premium talent;
➡️ Adoption of ZK solutions;
➡️ Research funding etc.
